We take a holistic approach to helping aging people and others with ongoing health concerns. That means we help each person find care that meets their unique health, financial, legal, emotional and safety needs.
If you’re an older person facing all of the challenges that aging can bring — or if you’re caring for an aging or disabled loved one — you may feel overwhelmed.
How do you navigate a confusing and complicated healthcare and insurance system?
What are the right financial and legal steps to take?
How can you help when you don’t live near your loved one?
How can you make sure every family member is part of the process?
That’s where we come in.

Rhoda Faller was born and raised in Manhattan; she did what would today be called a year’s mission trip in Israel, and taught high school biology before becoming an attorney. She is admitted to the bar in NY, NJ, FL, and KY.
Mrs. Faller joined her husband’s firm of Kentucky ElderLaw PLLC and worked to help families and older folks to prevent and help with the problems often faced by older folks and their children. Rhoda spoke frequently to Independent Living Facilities, Assisted Living Facilities, church groups, Alzheimer’s Association caregiver seminars, and has taught continuing education classes for nurses. All her speaking engagements have been well received.
Rhoda and Bernie were honored by the Alzheimer’s and Other Dementias Association in 2013 as the professional caregivers of the year.
Rhoda started Kentucky Senior HealthCare Advocate, LLC to help seniors and their families to understand what happened during a medical office visit. She attends the visit with the senior, takes detailed notes, asks questions and writes it up in understandable English.
Always interested in helping others, she has been on the Board of Directors of Eliahu Academy, Congregation Adath Jeshurun, the Spina Bifida Association of Kentuckiana, the Alzheimer’s Association of Kentuckiana, the Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana, and Senior Care Experts.
It has been said that "the happiness of your life depends on the quality of your thoughts." (-Marcus Aurelius) Are your thoughts or life circumstances currently getting you down or causing you to feel anxious or overwhelmed? If so, it may be helpful to talk with someone who can help you to get your thoughts and feelings headed in a more positive direction. I would be happy to help. I am a psychologist who has helped many people who are struggling with a wide variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, adjusting to life's changes, grief, chronic pain, stress management, relationship issues, and work issues.
I offer individual psychotherapy incorporating different therapies to provide a system of care that is most helpful to you as an individual. Every person is different and as such deserves an individualized plan. In addition to working with many adults with concerns such as those noted above, I have completed training with older adults.
If you or a loved one are struggling with memory concerns, it may be time to consider if dementia could be contributing. I can help diagnose a dementia such as Alzheimer's disease. An important part of this process is providing support to the person who may have dementia and their families
